What is a text repeater?
A text repeater takes a word, phrase, or block of text and outputs it as many times as you want. This tool repeats text up to 10,000 times, with an optional separator between copies and an optional prefix and suffix on each one, plus a live preview and quick presets for common needs.
Why repeat text?
- Test data: quickly fill a form field, database column, or layout with bulk content to see how it behaves at scale.
- Separator lines: generate a row of dashes, equals signs, or stars to divide sections in plain-text documents or code comments.
- Numbered or bulleted lists: use the prefix and suffix to produce repeating list scaffolding.
- Stress-testing: create long strings to check character limits, wrapping, and truncation.
Separators, prefixes, and suffixes
The separator sits between each repetition, so you can join copies with a space, comma, new line, or any custom string. The prefix and suffix wrap each individual copy, which is handy for building repeated HTML tags, CSV rows, or quoted items. Combining them lets you generate structured repeated output, not just a wall of identical text.
Fast and private
Generating thousands of repetitions happens instantly in your browser, and nothing you type is uploaded. Once you have the result, copy it with one click. Because the live preview updates as you change the count and options, you can dial in exactly the output you need before copying.
