Util Tools is a free collection of 73+ online utilities spread across 11 categories - calculators, converters, developer tools, document tools, generators, SEO helpers, and more. Every tool is designed to do one job well: load fast, work without a signup, and give you a correct answer with the reasoning shown, not just a number.
Why we built it
Most "free tool" sites bury a simple calculation under pop-ups, account walls, and pages of ads before you can use anything. We wanted the opposite - a place where you can land from a search, get your answer in seconds, understand how it was calculated, and leave. The tools are the product, not the bait.
How our tools work
The large majority of Util Tools tools run entirely in your browser. When you convert a weight, format some JSON, or calculate a loan EMI, the computation happens on your own device using JavaScript - nothing you type is sent to a server. A small number of tools that genuinely need a backend (for example PDF conversion or live currency rates) process your request on our server and discard it afterward; we never store the files or text you submit. Our principles
- Accuracy first. Every calculator shows its formula and assumptions so you can verify the result, not just trust it.
- Privacy by default. Client-side wherever possible; no accounts; no selling of your data.
- Speed. Lightweight pages that work on slow connections and old phones.
- No dark patterns. No fake "processing" delays, no forced sign-ups, no email harvesting to unlock a result.
How we stay free
Util Tools is supported by unobtrusive advertising and occasional relevant affiliate links. That keeps every tool free to use with no subscription. Ads never have access to the data you enter into a tool.
