Why convert Word to PDF?

PDF is the standard for sharing a finished document because it looks identical on every device and cannot be accidentally reflowed or edited. Converting your Word file to PDF locks in the layout, fonts, and pagination, which is why resumes, contracts, invoices, and reports are almost always sent as PDFs rather than editable DOCX files.

Formatting and layout control

Keep in mind that an open password controls access, not editing rights, and that you must remember it, since there is no way to recover a lost PDF password.
