How to merge PDF files

Merging combines several separate PDFs into one continuous document. With this tool you can add up to 20 files, drag them into the order you want, pick specific page ranges from each, and rotate pages that came in sideways. The result is a single PDF with all the selected pages in your chosen sequence.

Choosing pages and order

You are not limited to whole files. For each PDF you can specify a page range, so you might take pages 1 to 3 from one document and only page 5 from another. Reordering is as simple as dragging, which makes it easy to assemble a report, combine scanned pages, or interleave content from multiple sources into one clean file.

Does merging reduce quality?

No. Merging copies the original pages into a new container without re-encoding their content, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution. The combined file size is roughly the sum of the parts; if that is too large afterwards, run the result through a PDF compressor.

Common uses and privacy

Typical uses include combining invoices or receipts, assembling a multi-part application, joining scanned chapters, or putting a cover letter and resume into a single document. Files are processed securely and deleted within an hour of upload.
